CFS partners with Gesla Power (Pvt) Ltd for Renewable Energy

We believe in renewable energy as an essential element to thrive the planet towards Environmental Sustainability. Solar power has been considered as the purest form of renewable energy. CFS has recognized the importance of it and taken many efforts to promote the use of solar power since its beginning. Accordingly, CFS has able to sign a MOU between the University of Sri Jayewardanepura and Gesla Power (Pvt) Ltd on 12th of March, 2020. The main objective of this programme is to encourage university community to use the solar energy by creating a platform to buy solar panels at a reasonable rate. This will undoubtedly reduce the pressing issue of global warming while creating sustainable culture within the university. Gesla Power (Pvt) Ltd in turn will contribute to expand the Solar Power System which is to be installed at the Department of Forestry and Environmental Science.
